It's just how it is. Reduced SP innings. More strikeouts so more pitches. Better bulllens. Realization of the low meaning of a Win for the SP We'll probably never see a Maddux or Clemens level win total ever again let alone a Cy Young level. Spanky__99 and BTS 2

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Verlander is the only one anywhere near 300. Cole and Sale could hit 200. Yeah it just doesn't matter any more.

DeGrom is a HoFer for me - 2 CY awards, a ROY, and career ERA of like 2.6. At his peak he's the most dominant pitcher I've ever seen. He'll get to 2,000 Ks this year. 50 fWAR early next year. And still an outside shot at 2000 innings (395 IP away). I think it will be enough to get him inducted. G-Snarls, Terminator and Spanky__99 3

Coaches can’t just be running onto the field during a live play Brownie19 and Gen.Disarray 2

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Bad collision, double bags at 1st or something similar could have prevented this. Muncy was involved in a bad collision at 3rd last season....

No time to peel off. Vargas should have slid into a corner of the bag. Odd angle and some bad luck. Doesn't happen very often.

Remember they extended Cooper Pratt and he's still in the minors too. Spanky__99 1

Remember they extended Cooper Pratt and he's still in the minors too. This one seems kind of crazy. He had a 0.343 SLG in AA last year, and hasn't ever hit for power before this season. FG had him as the 11th best prospect in the system going into 2026. Brewers obviously have a huge amount of faith in their own tools of evaluation, because 31M isn't a small amount of money for them.
Laika Community Moderator Posted June 9 Posted June 9 I think I drafted Luis Lara in the LOD a few years ago but dropped him after one year. Because he had a 94 wRC+ in the minors.
Johnny King Vancouver Canadians - A+ LHP The 19-year-old top prospect has made 16 High-A starts. He is 3-2 with a 2.92 ERA. In 61 2/3 innings, he's walked 35, but he's struck out 83 batters. Explore Johnny King News >
