Historically, 3B has been IKF's best position from the defensive metrics, and Clement is good anywhere, so not sure why they went with this alignment (they did it in the Yankees series too). 

Regardless, let's hope IKF has a big game tonight. Or, more realistically, let's hope the Jays have a big game to compensate for IKF's existence.

Can't say that the manager doesn't have a very large nut sack. You have to have a pretty huge pair to put IKF out there in a situation like this, but maybe he's on to something. Only IKF's Mother likes this move, but I'm excited to be proven wrong. Go IKF!!!

I imagine they would have liked to have gotten Joey's lefty bat in there against Castillo tonight.

But even if approved in time, these lights are pretty bright for Joey to be playing on short notice after having sat for so long.

In order to fully absorb the powers of the 2015 Royals, Schneider has to embrace Ned Yost's mindset. That quote would make Ned shed a tear, so maybe this is so stupid that it works.

I did fiddle around with Statcast some and if Castillo brings the heat then Davis Schneider is essentially worthless. He can't hit 96+ from righties. IKF can slap hit them a little bit.

Yeah Loperfido and a few others have been travelling with the team so should be doable.

I don’t think he’ll be in the lineup, but at the very least it gives them a PH option and late defensive replacement for Barger

Not a fan of IKF. Oh he's 5 for 13.....We were also supposed to rake against Miller... Bieber had never given up a home run at Mariners Park.... Probably a few other nevers/often that haven't happened. Play who's been playing best. My favourite line from the Moneyball film was "Percentages hold up over a season, but for one game one at bat throw the percentages out the window"
