1. Berrios needs to stay in it. Solo homers only.

2. Stay close and destroy their relievers

I don't know if we can count on Bochy to pull Eovaldi if he is shoving after 84 pitches like he did with DeGrom.  We're going to have to earn it. Let the slap hitting barrage begin.

This offense has proven that they can get to any pitcher, including Eovaldi. I'm confident that we can get him out after 5 or 6 and scratch out a couple of runs. It's up to Berrios to keep us in it.

He may push Eovaldi to his highest pitch count of the season today unless he's flat of getting smacked.

I do think it was time to take Lukes out from the top of the order. He's a nice player and a decent hitter, but he's not one of the guys I'm comfortable having the most at bats in a game.

I never liked Lukes leading off, even when it was working. 

I don't recall anyone roasting you either. But it could have been the mouth breathers I have on ignore, which...if they disagree with you pretty much means youre right.

Ya, it just came down to who you trust to be your best players down the stretch and with those extra ABs at the end of games.  Doesn't mean Lukes/Schneider/Clement haven't done great for us.
