Wake n bake Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Sucks the Red Sox are gonna win, more worried about them down the stretch than the Yankees

Not high ceiling enough when your compare them to the other elite teams. Who the F knows though, we all thought the Yankees would have a lock down bullpen but look at them.
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Little gives up a walk too much. I just checked his whip and it was 1.34 lol. He's not a high-leverage arm.
BB17 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Not sure I would have PH for Schneider. Hes likely a better hitter vs RHP than Loperfido is.

It's a very imperfect bullpen. If everyone is on their game it could be lights out. But we have at least two guys that you don't want to bring it to the game with runners on because they might walk everybody. Including our only real lefty option. The fact that we only have one real lefty option. Rodriguez has been good but he's not a big strikeout guy and he has scattergun fastball command. And our closer gives up a lot of home runs. Honestly Varland might be the guy I trust most with runners on.

How many comeback wins do we have this year? You may be right tonight, but what a poor way to be a fan. Have some optimism. Omar and max silver 2

BB17 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Ernie with some terrible AB tonight. 3 times first pitch swinging with weak contact. He should not be hitting 2nd. Jays24 and Waylanderz 2
bronson44 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 This is the one I thought we had the best chance at. Thought we would get to Kershaw more

BB17 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 First ball to get past an outfielder tonight. Nice adjustment by Vladdy.

Most pens don't have this depth of talent. And what's meh about what I said? We DO have one leverage lefty. Schneider clearly prefers not to use either Seranthony and Little unless it's starting an inning. He's even mentioned that with Little. And our closer does give up a lot of home runs. Those are all literal facts.
june.june Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Kudos to Buck for surviving a tough one But the man sounding like he couldn’t breath out there, harsh sounding and congested why would he punish himself like this retire and be with your family
Masterbather Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 A bloop, a walk, a catcher's interference, and a blast. Let's get it...
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Little should be sent to Buffalo. He cannot be trusted in a close game anymore. Terminator and max silver 1 1
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 We are going to face this quality of pitching over the next 8 games or so. Our offense should be prepared and score more than a run lol abola2121 1

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Def would have been good to get another lefty but I don’t think it’s a huge deal. The three batter rule really limits the effectiveness of lefty specialists. You’ve got to get both righties and lefties out no matter what hand you throw with. Little has reverse splits anyway and a lot of the others run very tight splits. SerAnthony is the one guy who has a huge difference but the rest of them are pretty good vs both.

I didn't want a lefty specialist, I wanted a quality lefty. Little's splits won't mean much if he can't hit the strike zone. And that's always a big if.
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 don't get swept, only thing we can hope for now
dancingmachine Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 This is what happens when you go from Colorado to LA. Bad defense no clutch hitting or power. Go from playing a double A team to a legit contender
