Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Jays will soon give up the most home runs in the majors
dancingmachine Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 The KC feed was saying Walker slammed the BP phone when he made the call to get Fisher up

Masterbather Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 France is truly a square peg in a round hole on this team. dancingmachine 1
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 After watching France tonight Davis Schneider is a better hitter dancingmachine 1

glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Jays have now given up the 2nd most HR's in baseball, passing the Orioles. Only team worse than them in that category are the A's who play in a minor league park. Having an elite defense when all your pitchers do is give up home runs is not ideal. He may very well be washed. Would be nice if he found it again

Hogtown Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Ty France is a bum Pitching is looking pretty terrible. Lauer is the only one that can keep the ball in the park from the rotation Worried for these next 50 games. The jays could pull an epic failure if pitching can't avoid the home run ball and our hitting goes cold by putting losers like France in the lineup. Let's hope Ty France rides the bench

BB17 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Jays have a plus 17 RD on the season now. Obviously some of that is because of the terrible pitching depth earlier on in the year but it is a bit worrying they’ve been blown out like 4 times this past week. Its lucky they still have a lead in the division because I think its pretty clear they are not the best team in the division talent wise.

This is eerily reminiscent of the 4-12/-45 run differential stretch in late April/early May as the Jays got their asses handed to them regularly in a bunch of blowout games during that period. It immediately preceded the crazy run up the standings so hopefully this is something they get out of their system in relatively short order.
