I have the same criticism for Berrios that I had for Bassitt. I can live with a little inconsistency and worse results then his salary dictates, but this team REALLY needed him to step up, be focused, and eat some innings in this start. If nothing else, he gets the big dollars to do that, and he failed miserably.

I haven't really criticized him all year, but this really stands out as a disappointing level of effort from him.

Eat innings? They have a day off tomorrow.

You think he's not trying?  I can't see the game, but I'm curious what gives you the impression he isn't focused (beyond what you'd normally expect)?

I think I'd have to see something incredibly blatant to ever accuse a pitcher of that myself.

Maybe Bassitt and Berrios are taking gambling money!

you have got to be kidding 😯

Dude's been pounding our pitching this series, and he's taken 2 HR's back. Incredible.

Baseball God's turning their backs on the Jays.

And F the Orioles because Mullins will be gone after this game. Of course the Jays face them before they tear down.

Honestly if the Jays leave today with no more injuries, then I'll take that as a win no matter what happens in this game. One of the most frustrating series' I can remember, but higher expectations does that, I guess.

An interesting decision by the front office to make with this team.

Does Shapiro do the thing that he criticized AA for doing, strip our minor leagues bare in order to go all in with the major league roster.

If he doesn't, how good is this roster really without that help?

Schneider managing the bullpen like he has a bunch of allstars facing 3 batters each.
