jaysthebest Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Barger... He's been cold lately
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Barger swung at 3 balls very outside the strike zone... tough AB

jaysthebest Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Terrible plate discipline by Barger and Clement...

Masterbather Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Against the righties in particular would Clement not be like the worst hitter in our lineup? He shouldn't be batting 6th. neverbeenhere 1

neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 pen is gonna be depleted tonight
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 This god damn pitching strikes again. Ross better trade for at least 2 high leverage relievers and top-end starters.
keggy Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 I will never understand Schneider's bullpen usage in games like this. He did the same thing against the White Sox and it really wore down our pen.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Team is gonna be in horrible shape having to use their entire bullpen to get through this game. Not sure whose idea it was not to have a long man the game before a double header and a day game following that...
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Little just doesn't have control
keggy Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Even Schulman and Joseph think this is stupid
Masterbather Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 I fully expected us to give up runs against Baltimore, they have a good lineup, the key was always to make sure to score runs off of their pitching. Little has stunk today though. Him and Bassitt have combined to f*** us. At least there's no bottom of the ninth to worry about. Always better to get beat up on the road then at home for that reason.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Nance has about two brain cells to rub together apparently. Jays24 1
keggy Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Runner is out by a mile if you throw home
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 You shouldn't expect this bunch of our starting pitchers with an ERA around 4 to start in the postseason...
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Yup... that bunt when down 3 and a guy who's been hitting great all year was the pivotal moment in tbe game. Ah well... onto the next one.

neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Guys like Wagner, Loperfido may not be useful in playoff games,

Every other team will only have betters who NEVER make any outs. Spanky__99, Omar and hanton 3

Apparently no other team will be interested in acquiring any pitching, so it should be pretty easy for us to just somehow acquire two top-end starters and two high leverage relievers. A real big-brained idea here! Why stop there bud? They should get Suarez as well! BatFlip and Spanky__99 2

Regardless, doubt that was going to change the game with how they've been hitting and how we've been pitching today. Bad teams cry about 1 play and that hasn't been us this year, onto the next one.
