gruber9292 Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Giminez batting seventh while Heineman bats last? Make it make sense.

jaysthebest Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Must win the game. Buehler is one of the worst pitchers in the league.

Bottom of the ninth with two out and the game on the line, who would you prefer batting? If you can answer that question definitively, then it does matter on who is batting seventh versus ninth.
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Lukes always delivers in that situation
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Clase should have caught it spats 1
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Really need Varsho back so we can limit Clase... he just isnt good enough right now. Straw should be playing way more than him but lefty/righty always wins out...
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 s***, that's not good for Gimenez, right on the wrist
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 worst place to get hit for a batter, bottom hand right on the wrist
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 It looks like Giminez' batting glove has a thicker type velcro wrap around the wrist. Hopefully that's what saved him. hanton 1
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 3 outs on 4 pitches, unacceptable

The correct answer is I'd want neither of these guys hitting with the game on the line in the 9th inning. The team employs multiple better options on the bench to pinch hit in this type of situation.
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Left field always exposes a poor fielding outfielder in Fenway. Welcome to Fenway.. Clase
Masterbather Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Sandlin into a tight game late is certainly a decision.
keggy Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Atkins needs to update the spreadsheets because Schneider is still using Green as if he doesn't suck Jays24 and Stangstag 1 1
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 If that inning didnt give heart attacks then you don't care about the Jays. Sandlin struggling and we see GREEN in the bullpen ready to give up a game losing HR lol
Masterbather Verified Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Easy peasy. Series win. Season series win I think? On to the next one.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Hoffman should give the home plate ump half of his save there ;)
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Good series win, damn that game was long. Bring on the Yanks!
