Weather might be a bit dodgy in Minneapolis this weekend, don't know how these games will play out.

Weather is clear right now in Minny. Just a bit cloudy. Not supposed to rain today or this evening. 

Tomorrow supposed to rain around 3-4PM here, so might impact the game with a 1PM start time.

too bad the hockey and ball games start at the same time. better when they are staggered by an hour at least. 

Minnesota people like hockey too. Maybe we can all agree to slide the game up to 6 Eastern?

I've seen enough.

Pull Turnbull from the rest of this start and have him take Bowden's place on Sunday.

I'd rather watch Turnbull throwing 88 mph slop over the plate than watching Bowden give up a half dozen dingers each start

I didn't get to watch the first inning. Second inning it seemed his FB command was decent, breaking ball not so much.

He sure isn't a flamethrower.  His 4 seam was averaging 92 in 2024, so hopefully he works up a little closer to that figure.  The guy rides and dies on his breaking stuff.  Bring him up and let's see what happens!

I don't know man, he looked mediocre. Maybe he's got another level when he gets to the majors, it's hard to get amped playing these games but what does he have to get lefties out? Except for the fastball everything was moving into them.

Best part of the game so far was hula hoop girl between the 3rd and 4th inning

Turnbull done.

I'll say this about Turnbull, even though results have been mid. He doesn't give up a lot of home runs, mostly a groundball pitcher and with the kind of defense we can run out behind him that's something he's got over Francis who often doesn't give his elite defenders a chance.
