Feels like every fifth game is hard to watch (and not necessarily because of the product on the field). Thankfully this looks like the last Apple TV Jays game this season.

This series won't be easy.

They are throwing three good starters at us and we are using our bottom 3 against them. 

The good news is that they leaned on their relievers heavily in their series against the Reds.

They used 7 of 8 relievers yesterday and 4 of them (including their CL and both setup men) have pitched 2 days in a row now. We have a fresh pen after yesterday's day off.

So if Francis can keep the top 4 in check while avoiding a fluky 2 or 3 run homer from 5-9 (no guarantee with Francis) we will win

I'd be surprised if the Mariners score more than 3 runs in any of these games. Just get a bit of offense and we'll be fine.

I think they see Roden as a leadoff type, sort of leadoff hitting ahead of the leadoff in the nine spot. They figure Barger might get a fastball to hit in that part of the lineup which is why they're batting where they are.
