Im sure they were right there at the end. Im not suggesting the Jays shouldn't have paid it, just that its a pile of guaranteed cash for a guy on the wrong side of 40. I'd have liked to see his signi g at the start of the year with incentives that got up to his 10 million demand rather than a guaranteed amount

Just realized that Devers has been absolutely terrible in his first month in SF. He also hasn't played a single inning in the field yet.

The Jays broadcast mentioned he was playing through several minor injuries at the moment.

Yeah I'd like to see it from a straight behind the plate or overhead. I have a feeling it does look much worse from this angle.

Yes but he only 3 HR like a limp-dick. 10 rbi, 2 SB. 17 total bases. Only 4 runs.

still fun watching Trout hit bombs, career RBI #1,001 - and the chaser is off to get that ball from the fan in the outfield seats.  He hit it to straight away centre, 443 feet.
