What would it hurt is the question. I'm sure you've played baseball before... sometimes the dumbest things like changing where you are in the lineup, what bat or batting gloves you're using can make things click.

 

Then you can also say Bo has batted before Vlad for most of their careers, which has yielded better success. Keeping with status quo clearly isn't working.
