BlueJays Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 I don't like the idea of taking Kikuchi out with 81 pitches. especially with the bottom of the line-up. Brain fart again by Schneider
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 So with all that information, this team decided Swanson was ready to go. Dudes been utter trash every outing.
HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Swanson was so good last year until his arm fell off. Now he's looking very iffy.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Swanson about to put us in crisis again
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Turner you stud... way to make up for the other play and then some!!
HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Nice play to get the runner at home.
keggy Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Don't love that play when we're counting outs but Turner clearly knows what he's doing.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Is that you Buck? It simply isn't true. Velocity has give MLB so many more quality arms. Go look at the results v. high velo. If a feel for pitching was producing top results, we'd see all kinds of pitchers throwing 89 with 2 seam movement, hitting corners. No fan of Buck. However, what he was trying to say and you hyperbole his point, is that velocity without command and control or location and feel is nothing. More important than 101 mph is pitch sequence and location. The 2015 Blue Jays loved flame thrower fastball guys. They got f***ed up by changeup speed and location pitchers.

jaysthebest Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Thank god Swanson didn't allow a run..
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Good call. Thank Turner for saving Swanson's ass. Definitely not a good outing lol
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Wtf was Bo swinging at lmao
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Come on KK. I am a coach on my older kids baseball team and have taught them since they were 5 to wait until the ball hits the ground before you advance unless two outs. Every time a runner gets on base we reiterate it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Davis Schneider is snakebit today. Three balls hit hard, first robbed by Witt Jr., the second 389 foot bomb to straight CF, and then a 101 mph line out double play. s*** luck.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Have to admit I wasn't thrilled when Yimi hit the innings in '23 to roll his deal into '24, but at this point his $6M deal is a godsend.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Nick Anderson is cooked. Long way from the monster he was on the Rays a few years ago.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 I am still in shock how great Garcia has been this season. Hope he can keep it up because that's something that would be massive for us in the playoffs.

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Time to move Springer down in the lineup. Enough is enough lol
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Springer needs a day off. He's an automatic out.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 I have been a Yimi critic… he has been a beast so far this season I keep waiting for the news of a failed drug test but until then, keep it pushing Yimi!
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Team is winning and Vlad looks lost at the plate he needs to get going
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Team is winning and Vlad looks lost at the plate he needs to get going He's been lost for a couple of years now. What do people keep waiting for?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 I have been a Yimi critic… he has been a beast so far this season If i recall it seemed like he was solid when asked to go 1, but often when he was asked to sit between innings and come back out, he was no bueno.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Don’t think I’ve ever seen someone square up a Romano slider like that.
