Especially in a game where the wind is swirling in all kinds of crazy ways and the Rays 3b nearly muffed a simple pop up the inning before. In The RC he makes that play 99/100 without even needing to dive.

What exactly is wrong with Turner? He produced a 139 wRC+ with men on base last season. This improved to 150 wRC+ with men on base. It's not like that's an isolated performance from last season either as he's produced similar clutch numbers over his entire career. This feels an awful lot like complaining just for the sake of complaining.

Turner is a fine hitter but still not someone you want batting cleanup at age 39 on a world series winning team. Would be fine 5th or ideally 6th at this moment of his career but this is why we play the games. Let's see how it goes.
