Vancouver couldn't support a Basketball team that only plays 41 home games per year in a stadium that holds 19,700 people. Do you honestly think they could support a baseball team that plays 81 home games with a larger stadium?

 

Not really apples and apples. Two different sports. That is like saying since Phoenix can’t support an NHL team what makes you think they could support an NFL team.

 

I know I have never paid to go to a pro basketball game in my life. I sure have paid for or gone to a s*** ton of baseball games.

THe issue with Vancouver is getting a partnership together and building a new park in a good location. BC Place would be a dumpster fire just like the Big O.

 

Yep, biggest hurdle would be a stadium. I do think they could support a baseball team. But for sure the other major sports there are… not doing well. Grizzlies obv, and the Whitecaps FC attendance is pretty bad.
