Laika Community Moderator Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Well there are many ways to view producing no mlb bullpen arms in 8 years and this is one of them But they have produced them Mayza and Romano have become elite relievers while under the tutelage and guidance of Shatkins
wamco Verified Member Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Even if you want to count them…that’s 2. Aaa now currently has a bunch of interesting bp arms though. Just no way to get them playing time besides injury as of now

wamco Verified Member Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 What bullpen do you idolize? The Rays? I don’t think I have ever thought about that. So i don’t have one. How bout you?
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 ITT we whine about "bullpen development" even though the team has a good MLB bullpen at reasonable cost, and there are a good number of interesting relievers in the minors. That's OFF LIMITS. Feel free to whine about the right things like: - failure to develop any elite hitting prospects in the last few years - failure to develop enough SP depth - Ross's press conferences - John Schneider's tomato face

BTS Community Moderator Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Corbin Burnes to Baltimore Well s***
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Uhhhh If those are the headliners this is very bad
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Milwaukee is getting the 34th overall pick this year too
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 I don’t think it’s that bad. Apparently Joey Ortiz hits the ball hard and they can mold DL Hall for one year of Burnes Adames to the Dodgers any second now
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 We've already fapped to Baltimore in the ownership change thread but they are going to own the AL East for years to come.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Smart move by the O's. Why spend $30 million a year on a FA SP to get you what, 104 wins instead of 101? However, trading specs that won't even make a dent for a top SP is a nice move.

And won't miss who they traded away I don't imagine.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 I miss Angelos. It didn't take long did it
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Yikes. They could now do the same and get Musgrove and it barely makes a dent in their farm.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Great move by the Orioles. Burnes actually gives them a legit No. 1 starter, which is what they have been lacking. This definitely moves the needle for them. AL East just got a lot tougher.
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Blue Jays entering their perennial 4th place era again
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Seems like a dumb trade for the Brews?? f***ing hell….
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
