We're leading this game if it goes 2 feet further. Don't underestimate the home run.

Who the hell is underestimating the home run? I think we all understand that's the biggest problem for this team and the reason they're in trouble.

Small ball, get hits, move runners and the runs will come, sometimes it seems this team tries to go for the big play rather than small ball.

 

what so called small ball are you playing with 2 out? and you would need a hitter with good bat control and Chapman is atrocious at that

It wasn't a super hard catch for a major league center fielder, both Varsho and Kiemaier make that play and a lot of other center fielders.

Whatever is going on with Toronto's power this year is what is killing us, both Vlad and Chapman hit 390 foot fly balls to center. If they hit 405 foot flyballs or pull it it's a different game.

 

Varsho and Keirmaier are elite defenders, so yes they would make the catch. It wasn't so much the catch but did you notice his read off the bat? His route was incredible hence the catch was made.

Michael A plays great D. Wrong part of the park to hit it to. That’s been the story with Chapman all year since May.

Catch probability was 93% (ok - I just made that up). But the ball held up forever and it really wasn't that tough. Nice catch. Tapia would have eaten that up!!!

Jax is a good, but hardly dominant, setup guy. Duran will pitch multiple innings. We have to get him now and that's a good start.
