glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2023 Posted July 18, 2023 The Jays can’t possibly count on Manoah down the stretch. Command still stinks even though he should have K’d Soto before the HR.
el duque Verified Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Musgrove curveball is breaking a lot, KK did not see that coming
el duque Verified Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Manoah does not need Gausman bad luck
el duque Verified Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Springer absolutely butchered that looks he lost the ball, but why? lights
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 I like how Schneider will pull a dominating starter after 7 IP and 80 pitches but will let Manoah make this a blowout before he takes him out. He better not face the lineup a 3rd time.

He better not face the lineup a 3rd time. I don’t feel he should have saw Tatis this inning. He is not missing any bats and he has no command whatsoever.
el duque Verified Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 I am not impressed with Manoah, all hitters are seeing his stuff easily
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Manoah stalls and manipulates the pitch clock a lot by throwing out baseballs... He also uses his disengagements to stall. It seems clear to me he really struggles with the pitch clock - presumably because he's out of shape. He can't be on this team right now IMO
tossingthiscoin Verified Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 I'm impressed with our FO for thinking Manoah is ready for the big league after he got crashed by single A batters.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Worst umpire in baseball...bad luck...and terrible defense from Springer. Becoming a norm someone has an issue in the field, every game in the 2nd half
tossingthiscoin Verified Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Manoah was the Cy-young finalist last season... I can't believe this kid has turned into a minor-league pitcher in a year.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 The little league defense continues
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Back to the minors Definitely time for Orelvis to take over 3B
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2023 Author Posted July 19, 2023 Down three runs we can still win this with Manoah gone.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Manoah is not ready good job org
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Down three runs we can still win this with Manoah gone. No outs though and the defense keeps handing runs to SD
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 What do you even do with Manoah at this point?
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 What do you even do with Manoah at this point? They fixed Halladay, but he was down there sufficient time to make a difference.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 What do you even do with Manoah at this point? Go find better defensive players
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 They fixed Halladay, but he was down there sufficient time to make a difference. Manoah doesn't have a fraction of the stuff Roy Halladay did.
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 They fixed Halladay, but he was down there sufficient time to make a difference. Halladay had stuff and a great attitude Manoah has bad stuff and food addiction
Sea Air Verified Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 What do you even do with Manoah at this point? How about trying him out of the bullpen? Kind of helped Pivetta in Boston.
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Marry f*** kill Manoah, Brad Keller, Zach Davies
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 How about trying him out of the bullpen? Kind of helped Pivetta in Boston. With his inability to get whiff or throw strikes he wouldn't be a valuable bulllpen member.
