I get firing the hitting coach (and others) but I don’t blame them. We have bunch of professional bats that know what to do. They just aren’t consistently executing. The 3-0 swing from Vlad case in point. It’s a shake up move and sometimes that has to be done.

I truly think it is our fnnnn hitting coaches, or we have three of them and no consistent message or wrong message. How can a guy who could hit, go to not hitting so radically on a new team, unless he was told to make changes which have become significant to his lack of success..

Nobody is treating Pearson as an asset at this point in time. The stuff is good but every team has 2 or 3 of those guys in their orgs, he’s not a high end reliever as of now, at least until he really hones in his command to get the most out of his stuff.

He’s still a young controllable arm that throws hard. He is a guy the Jays might have to part with as a sweetener in a trade especially considering the Jays lack prospect capital. But no not a huge asset at all.
