Apparently, that one side view of him revealed a massive problem. He starts with his hands up and cocaine, then when he starts his leg movement the hands come down and slightly forward, then back again before they go forward. That’s a clusterf*** of hand movements destined to make you late and out of sync with the lower half

If Atkins is aware that it's not against the CBA to actually extend young players, I think Jansen should be a priority. Catching depth in the system isn't great anymore and Kirk hasn't hit for any power in 12 months (that's not factoring the fact that he's fat, slow, and a lot more likely to decline early).

Sure, but in general, extending catchers isn’t a great bet. It’s not like Jansen is the pinnacle of health

Funny thing is, with Vlad the tell is the exit velos coming back up that he is fixing things. If he wasn't robbed tonight by Semien he would have had 3 hits in 2 night over 110 mph...2 line drives. LA wise he is still needing to get it back up, but progress is being made positively
