Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 A nice relaxing win. Go Jays! Good game guys! Let’s string some wins now. Off the bottom spot now! Nice play by Bo to finish it up. Looking smooth out there
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 Yeah, we all understand that. Just sayin, I can honestly only count …3-5 times this season where the move was questionable. The rest is just pitchers throwing like trash. This reputation of him constantly making bad pitching moves is still mostly just leftover vitriol from 2022

RustyTrombone Verified Member Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 Anyone else left thoroughly unimpressed by the game tonight? Just a bunch of seeing eye ground ball singles, no power to speak of (the one 2B was a weak groundball hooked around the 3b bag). Coochie looked brutal again, 5 BB and only 4 K, he still has no idea where he's gonna throw it, got bailed by a s*** Brewers offense. Don't want to be negative after a easy win but holy f*** this could have been a 5-1 loss or worse if the luck was flipped.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 LOVE... seeing that dude again. GJG... win this s***.

This is what it looks like when you aren't playing the AL f***ing East for three weeks straight anymore.

But, Kikuchi is probably one of those "effectively wild" types. Even when he's decent it's not gonna be clean.

Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 I'm starting to wonder if Kikuchi ends up in the bullpen again this season. I mean obviously the Jays would have to trade for or promote a couple starters, but Kikuchi is barely skating by right now. Really too bad Tiedemann got hurt. Hopefully he's back soon.

Tiedemann, is not starting for the Jays this season man.

WryNGinger Verified Member Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 Vlad looked like he more of a plan at the plate tonight which was nice to see. Hopefully he gets on a nice run on this home-stand. Pearson looked great tonight! Just easy heat and big bends on his off-speed stuff. Good win tonight!

Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 Tiedemann, is not starting for the Jays this season man. Probably not now, but he might have if he'd stayed healthy. He'd probably already be at AAA by now. The guy was leading the entire farm system in K/9 and xFIP at AA.

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 Was just able to finish game on PVR now. Big Nate was dealing. I’ve been waiting years for an outing like that. We’ve seen glimpses. Breaking ball command much better and the V up top was awesome. Big time valuable arm if he can eat 2 IP and look more like that consistently.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 Basically the first time Pearson has had his breaking balls working

Kikuchi is the Jays 4th best starter right now. Manoah likely gets demoted before Kikuchi moves to the BP.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 So his uncle has worked? The family is a mixed bag. We like his uncle for his hitting tips but his grandma and her food is another story.
