Not much going on in the GDT today. Hope is fading fast isn't it? We'll always have the 20-1 game.

 

American League looks to be tougher this year, outside of the pathetic Central as always. I think that was predictable. For a team that doesn't appear to have gotten much better, and may end up being worse than last year, this is going to be an uphill battle.

I hope not. Pretty grim at the moment. Don’t want to have to count on an extended heater towards seasons end. They often still come up short like 2021. Doesn’t get easier next year in our division and we will be sans Chappy most likely. This is the time.

This team is becoming painful to watch and Kisucki every 5th start was unacceptable before the season even started given he's one of the worst pitchers in baseball.

My key to maintaining sanity while the Jays play like absolute dogshit is to start watching the game well after it started. I PVR the games, and the Jays fall behind early I start fast forwarding through the game. If they get some runners on base I'll watch to see if they manage to make the game closer. Otherwise I just keep fast forwarding to the end to see the final score.
