f***ing buzzsaw through this lineup.

 

He has hung some pitches tho... but with no swings on them, but happy to swing at the stuff up out of the zone and way down and in (merrifield).

 

I think McClanahan is just in their head, like he's in pretty much everyone's head. They have to be geared up for 96+ but he can just drop those 85 mph changes and curves in whenever he wants.

I really do think Bo's defense has improved

 

He gets to a lot of balls

 

Arm is a bit more accurate though not great

 

He now rarely throws balls away under pressure when he has no real chance of getting it to 1B in time

Hopefully. Just looking at the approaches of the two teams, Tampa is just always ready to hit mistakes. Jays are really just looking and looking like theyre going to wait him out or something.

Im not quite convinced yet. they might just have the greatest advanced scouting system in the game by far... always seems like the hitters know exactly how they are going to be pitched and are ready for everything thrown their way.

 

And i dont mean sign stealing or pitch comm interception or stuff like that, just that maybe their video guys have built such a perfect way to scout opposing pitcher's tendencies to throw a certain pitch here, then a different one there, pitch sequencing predictions etc.
