G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Red Sox offense is actually pretty legit
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Yoshida probably the one we should've signed instead of Belt.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 "Tiedemann exits start early with apparent arm injury...." "Tiedemann, 20, threw his 60th pitch of the outing in the fourth inning and immediately pointed to his arm and was removed."

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Yoshida probably the one we should've signed instead of Belt. One was insanely more expensive.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP*
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 One was insanely more expensive. Ya but the production seems worth.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Ya but the production seems worth. That was a huge gamble that has paid off for exactly 1 month into the contract thus far.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Watching Biggio take his warm up swings in the on deck circle. All his swings and his swing plane is shoulder high.. Did someone tell him he is susceptible to the high fastball and he is working on that…
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Ya but the production seems worth. Hardly. Dog s*** Defense and base running. He basically has to hit like David Ortiz to be worth it.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 All right, let's hope Belt does half of what Yoshida does (since it is a 10M v 20M/y contract) by the end of this year.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Laika jinxed us talking s*** about Casas….
keggy Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Belt just took over the team lead for strikeouts
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Kirk and Merrifield both off on the same day again. Not sure why Schneider (or the org) can't structure the off days differently so that two of your better performing hitters aren't sitting on the same day in favor of two hitters who look absolutely overmatched and abysmal so far (Belt/Biggio).
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Serves me right for shouting at Reese not to be jacking one…
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 another ******** lucky hit. Sox have all the breaks this series.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Serves me right for shouting at Reese not to be jacking one… Can't believe that jerk off is doing damage against Gausman.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Something is wrong. Not a single Red Sox hitter has swung and missed at a pitch - almost like they know whenever the off-speed is coming. Either something is seriously wrong with Gausman or Boston is cheating (again).
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 another ******** lucky hit. Sox have all the breaks this series. They are being patient on pitches and not missing the meatballs. They are getting lucky to some extent, but the quality of at bats have been amazing.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Something has been off this entire series.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 They are being patient on pitches and not missing the meatballs. They are getting lucky to some extent, but the quality of at bats have been amazing. I was listening to the Sox radio broadcast yesterday, they went over the numbers on this exact thing. Basically the Sox are less than 20% chase rate against the jays pitching in the series, the average chase rate for other teams facing Jays pitching is upwards of 35%.
