Astros have an elite bullpen with a s*** load of swing and miss. Huge reason they won the WS. Must be nice to bring out a guy like Abreu in this situation.

 

Well it’s not like Abreu is coming in as a random middle relief option, he’s arguably their best reliever. He came in to limit the damage and keep the Astros in it. It’s like if the Jays had brought in Swanson in the same spot.

To be fair, that sequence from Abreu was about as perfect as it could be. Two painted low strikes and a disgusting slider that followed the exact Sam tunnel as the first two for a swing and miss.
