I'll take a .600 road trip to start the season though, 2 series wins and heading home to hopefully feast on the Tigers and gain some ground on the Rays.

Could easily be 2-8 or even 8-2. Pretty much all those games were winnable with a half-decent start.

 

Glad we came out on top, but the starting pitching needs to do better going forward. Tougher teams like the Yankees and Rays etc. won’t be giving up 5+ runs each game.

Yeah.. Kirk won't have a long career. Moreno is an athletic stud behind the plate and based on athletics alone, Kirk should have been dealt. We just don't know the details of the trade. Maybe Arizona didn't want Kirk. End result is we have Varsho for 4 prime years. Not a bad consolation.
