It was pretty f***ing good. Biggio is a pretty good OF actually.

Biggio LHB and Merrifield RHB is a pretty decent and versatile bench duo

Berrios a bit wild with control (in the Phillies game), but his sinker has great velo (95-96) and he carved up JT Realmuto in 3 pitches for a K.

The Blue Jays bought a lemon!

Flipping in 67mph curveballs and grooving in 88mph fastballs

21MPH difference in pitches!

I'm glad Buck gave us the background that Swanson was sick because that inning looked like Trevor Richards lol.

Ross was on today talking about how much he likes our pitching depth... I just dont see the depth Ross, at least until mid season....

You're neck and neck with JaysAllMighty for the broken record leader on this board. Keep up the 'great' work.

Well he can't say he doesn't like the depth.

"I hate our pitching depth. Mitch White has no stuff and Thompson is trash."

Robberse is throwing 93-94, that's decent for him isn't it?

Fangraphs had him at 88-91 topping out at 93 last year. If this is his new “sitting” velo then that probably makes him a legit top 100 prospect. Big if though.

Keith Law said he lost a bit of velo last year. Maybe it is back and then some

"Robberse, the best Dutch prospect currently in the minors, lost some weight going into 2022 and it cost him over a mile an hour on his fastball, something he has to reverse to be more than a fifth starter. He’s a command guy with a great delivery and good spin on two distinct breaking balls. If he threw 96 mph, he’d be a top-10 pitching prospect in the sport. He looks like he could put some weight back on and get himself to solid-average velo, at which point he’s probably a mid-rotation starter given his feel for pitching and present command. I’m betting he gets there."

One of your two personalities has been very prominent lately and not the good one.

You are one of the tools that says all is great and then when someone says is it? You criticize them, normally with your more angry personality. Then if the person actually ends up right, you criticize them for stating, hey, remember when you were aggressive as f*** reference my opinion and look at the results. You get all a crazy again for the poster pointing something they were correct about but that you criticized the f*** out of them about.

Your personality is a vicious circle.

Anyway, back to baseball sin the angry dude.

So Ross could have said a number of things today in his interview.

1. We like our pitching depth but are always looking for ways to improve the depth/team etc.

2. We have a lot of high expectations for the arms we have in camp and I think you will see some arms emerge from the spring etc, etc.

What Ross said: One of the things he is most excited about is our pitching depth...

When you are not even sure who can be your 5th SP, that is not exciting depth IMO.

I just think Ross is using some hyperbole in an area that he should be much more reserved.

Use the Hyperbole for run prevention, base running, balanced attack etc,etc.. All for it and agree...
