I love watching the unnecessary piling on from all the "experts" .. i mean, if only anyone from the Jays just surfed this forum for a few minutes a day, they'd have all the Jays problems solved in seconds.

No one is claiming to be an expert. We're all saying he's fat as f***.

Great. so that must be THE one and only problem. Can't be anything else, just the one visible flaw that it's easy to poke fun about.

Im not claiming to be an expert either, I'm just saying you're intellectually lazy and nowhere near as edgy and cool as you think you are, and if you were in a room with Manoah you wouldnt say stit to his face about it either, so youre also probably a hypocrit douchebag with no spine.

Psychologically spekaing of course.

He can't keep up with the pitch clock because he is winded.

Don't make excuses for fat athletes. They should be shamed.

Yup, winded after the first pitch of every game. Makes complete sense. Not a single flaw in that theory. Rock solid.

Steve Phillips said he gained weight but he thinks he lifted more weights and gained more muscle mass in his upper body this past offseason. This tightened his arm action and lead to a decline in his stuff. No idea if he knows what he's talking about but it does make some sense.

should be sort of easy to fix if true

just do a fad diet for like two months

To be fair he probably gets winded doing his pre game warm ups.....

Learn to spell before calling someone retarded. You talk way more s*** behind a computer than anyone *******. So shut the f*** up.

EDIT: Looks like you're from Alberta. My apologies, that explains your spelling.

Cody Bellinger

Joc Pederson

Joey Gallo

Teoscar Hernández

Hunter Renfroe

Out of all those guys above, Joc Pederson is probably the best guy. Don't really care much about the others.

Max Kepler, and Eddie Rosario have club options.

Michael Conforto could opt-out.

Jesse Winker is a FA and could be a good buy low but his power has vanished the past two seasons.

You're missing LGJ in that list. I'd be happy with Pederson as well, if they go this route.

Please point to the place where I called you retarded. I called you intellectually lazy, not edgy, uncool, and suggested you might be a hypocrite douchebag, but nowhere did I call you retarded. If you can't even keep a basic understanding of how you're being insulted, I'm sure I'd lose you with further discourse

Manoah's arrogance should be taking a hit soon. Hoping for a miraculous comeback.

If nothing else, this. athletes all have to a bit on the confident side or theyd never get to the level they get to, but yeah, right now he can't walk the walk

A public apology to Anthony Recker should be on the comeback list.

People are too nice and accepting of fatties in sports. It's embarassing.

The only sport that gets away with this is baseball. Even 320 pound offensive lineman in football have to be in crazy good shape. Only in the MLB can you be a fat 300 pounds and still be on a professional sports team.

The Blue Jays 'experts' must be s***ing their pants right now. Someone decided he was ready to face live hitting and that person was 100% wrong. Could you imagine that guys face as he gets pounded by some teenagers?

Does this epic failure suggest it is an issue with his weight/body/flexibility? I would seem like you'd need a few months to transform his body back to where it needs to be to have success. Or perhaps he's just a complete headcase now. Either way, these 'experts' in their expensive facility sure have their work cut out for them.

At this point, what are the chances we see Manoah pitch as a starter for the Blue Jays again with a reasonable level of success (let's say as a current Taijuan Walker level - 4.41 xFIP, 3.5 BB/9, 7.7 K/9). Is it even 50%?

He must be working on a change up or something. There's no way he can be going for results.

I hope he was trying to work on something specific and that line didn't matter. You'd think if he was working on something he'd still be able to get kids out though?

This has to be it, right?

Jays may have dodged a bullet in signing him long term. I hope they fix him, he was so good.

We don’t really know how this thing works. How many times does someone go on a rehab and they smacked around in A ball and then they’re shutting out a mlb team a few starts later. They could be throwing 70% type thing. Working on location etc

Not even sure how a number could be arrived at accurately, but .. sure doesnt look very promising based on this one legit shelling that's for sure.
