One of the biggest drops in tempo (from 18.3 to 14.5...24.3 to 18 with runners on). Could be just overcompensating with the new rules.

Braves are probably the best of a bad bunch but they’ve worn similar unis like that before. Angels are okay. But they all pretty much suck. I’m glad the Jays aren’t participating. Another good decision by Shapiro.

They should do a city siteline with a 6 or The Six in Blue and White with a Canada patch or small flag incorporated in it. Like in my Avatar but painted, it's a *CITY CONNECT* Jersey, not a Country Connect, f*** that.

I hope not. They’ve already done their ode to Canada, I think they’ll recognize nobody likes the reds and it’s for the city not the country.

If you had to rate which is the bigger surprise.... The Rays playing .800 ball or the Cardinals sucking, which would it be?

 

Probably the Rays, just because of how fast out of the gate they started and they really haven't slowed down much and we are almost at the a quarter of the way through the season. Even if they go .500 the rest of the way they still win 92 games!

The NBA has done something similar for years. And all the special jerseys have either been Drake or Toronto related. Its called “City Connect” so no doubt it will be Toronto themed.

 

They can do those gaudy Canada Day jerseys once a year. I don’t even think they are listed as an alt this Season. I know the players hated them.
