I was watching Tik Tok last night and there were memes of Mariners fans mocking Jays fans about how good Teo’s Defense has been so far.

 

I will try to find them lol.

 

Have they looked at his offensive stats?

Rays have a +57 run differential after 9 games, that's absolutely insane even considering the shitbag teams they have played so far. 75 runs for, 18 against, that's some absurd stats. Gotta be one of the best starts of any team.in MLB history. Hopefully we can close that gap and not allow them to runaway with the division early on like the Yankees did last year.

 

The thing that’s most impressive is that out of all their wins, every single one has been by 4 runs or more. yes, they should beat those teams but baseball will usually curse you for 1 or 2 games out of 9.

Teoscar blowing the game for the Mariners, with his brutal defense. Kind of glad we got rid of him. He was tough to watch.

 

He has, in large part, cost them 2 games already this season with defensive miscues. I'm surprised they doubled down on bad defensive players again after their experience with Winker and Haniger.

Arizona taking 3 of 4 of the Dodgers. D'Back's will be a fun team to watch. A little short on starting pitching IMO though. But love them as sleepers in the NL.

Random thought.

 

If baseball games are a half hour shorter this year, and I watch every Blue Jays game, I think I save three and a third plus days of guys adjusting their batting gloves, etc.

I don't wish injury on anybody, but I'm not going to cry for a division rival missing a key piece.

 

Then again, I was one of those that did cheer Kevin Durant getting hurt in the finals.

 

I guess the fact that a multi, multi, multi millionaire, former multiple time champion, suffering a non-life threatening, or even career ending injury, who we all knew was still going to sign for many, many millions of dollars to rehab while having the resources to have all his needs tended to while he rehabs kind of makes me feel like that's not actually a real life tragedy, and I have the right to want a championship more than I'm hurt for the life he's still going to have even with an ouchie in his achilles.

 

But I digress....

Was just looking at the standings and noticed that along with the Rays 9-0 start they have a +57 run differential.

 

People keep stating who they've played, but IDGAF, that's impressive. Their slaughtering the competition so far.

Every f***ing year we think the Jays have a good shot to win the division, one f***ing team has a historic run. Tampa this year, Yankees last year… shits annoying as hell.

Lowe hits a HR, 1-0 Rays. Fairbanks coming in for 9th. Looks like they are going 10 - 0.

 

At least Yankees lost.
