Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Probably crossed the line grabbing the guys jersey. I do side with athletes once it crosses over from “you’re terrible, you stink” etc.. to calling them a bitch, or saying things about their family. I don’t care what I’m paid, no one is going to call me a f-g or something. If I can’t punch him in the face, he can leave The irony of you calling people soft
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 If that's their training, then their training needs to be changed. ZERO justification in an attack like that on someone posing no danger to anyone. You think they should just politely ask anyone who ends up on the field to leave? That would be an effective deterrent
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 You think they should just politely ask anyone who ends up on the field to leave? That would be an effective deterrent Police and security generally use too much force. We see it again and again. It's why people with mental disabilities are disproportionately injured and killed in police encounters, in circumstances where they pose no harm to others. "Shoot first, ask questions later"
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Nelson Cruz is hitting cleanup for the Padres tonight...
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Nelson Cruz is hitting cleanup for the Padres tonight... Could’ve done extra hgh to squeeze a swan song. I wouldn’t bet on it though
Ehjays Verified Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Teo just made a bad throw and allowed 2 runners to score. 3-1 Cleveland Dont miss the adventures on defence.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Nelson Cruz is hitting cleanup for the Padres tonight... These guys and their stars and scrubs strategy…
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Teo just made a bad throw and allowed 2 runners to score. 3-1 Cleveland Dont miss the adventures on defence. Seattle took the opposite strategy of the Blue Jays by adding negative defenders in Teo, Wong and Pollock in order to bolster a weak lineup. It will be interesting to see which strategy is more successful.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Nelson Cruz is hitting cleanup for the Padres tonight... Padres might be the leagues most overrated team.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Nelson Cruz is hitting cleanup for the Padres tonight... How many games does Tatis need to sit out this season?
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 How many games does Tatis need to sit out this season? April 20th he can return.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Padres might be the leagues most overrated team. Definitely. Majority of MLB network people have them predicted to win the WS. If one of the main 4 guys in that lineup go down they look really ugly. Like now.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 How many games does Tatis need to sit out this season? 20 games left.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Azocar just dropped a sac bunt with the Padres down 4 in the 8th inning
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Jesus christ Kwan just misplayed the hell out of a liner from Jrod and cost a run
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 I’m assuming Nelson Cruz is hanging on trying to join 500 Homerun club. But he was so f***ing awful last year. I don’t even think it’s remotely realistic.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Jesus christ Kwan just misplayed the hell out of a liner from Jrod and cost a run What a sloppy game. You don't see that from the Indians very often, but luckily for them, their opponent has been just as bad. Kwan has a chance to redeem himself after a brutal error from Kolten Wong loads the bases.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 And Kwan extends the lead to 7-4 with a 2 RBI single. That's 3 errors for Seattle (should be 4) in only 5 innings.

I guess the downgraded defense experiment isn’t going well so far

If one of the main 4 guys in that lineup go down they look really ugly. Like now. Right? They’re the most trendy WS pick I don’t know if they even win the division with the Dodgers basically sitting idle this season.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Now Rosario hits another RBI single after the pitcher falls behind on automatic balls. You can't say the new rules aren't interesting.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Kyle Lewis with a 2 run bomb to pull ahead of the Dodgers in the 8th. Damn.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Gurriel batting 3rd with Moreno batting 6th for Arizona. Both are 1/4 today. Feel like I'll be watching them until Varsho makes me forget who they are lol.
M.E. Verified Member Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Ex Jays taking down the M’s. RR crap on the mound and Teo putting up errors and 0 for on the season with the hat trick tonight. The great revenge for last year. ;-)

Really happy he's off this team. 5 k's in his first 8 ABs and already single handedly losing games with his poor defense HA
