Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 7, 2022 Author Posted October 7, 2022 No clutch so far …. How long will Castillo go ? 8 innings unless we can get a big inning on him
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Probably will go into 8th and Munoz will be brought in to wrap this game up. Pretty much a dream game 1
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Why? Why is he coming out at 79 pitches and with a dude hitting .140 coming up. This is absolutely bizarre decision.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Could argue the Jays bats have looked better than the Mariners at this point… just not stringing hits together
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 I knew all the trash-talking from Manoah/Vlad, hype nonsense from every platform is going to bite us squarely in the ass.
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 By the way, hope you all are good and healthy.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 7, 2022 Author Posted October 7, 2022 Only 4 hits for SEA
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Very few pitches to hit in the playoffs at times, can’t miss them when you get them. Difference in the game so far
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 I knew all the trash-talking from Manoah/Vlad, hype nonsense from every platform is going to bite us squarely in the ass. Maybe they’ll learn next year to shut up and prove it on the field
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Only 4 hits for SEA Jays bats have looked better IMO
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 7, 2022 Author Posted October 7, 2022 Why? Why is he coming out at 79 pitches and with a dude hitting .140 coming up. This is absolutely bizarre decision. Potential 1 inning on Sunday if needed maybe
Masterbather Verified Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Is it really worth using our only late game lefty here? Are they conserving Manoah in case they want him to pitch on short rest WHEN we advance?
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Only 4 hits for SEA Too many walks/hit by pitch.
ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Dude hit a ball on a line with a .630 expected batting average last AB. When did this turn into the casual blue jays board. He's a complete bonehead and if you watched the Jays half as much as I do you'd know it too.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 7, 2022 Author Posted October 7, 2022 Jays bats have looked better IMO Neither team has done much. Other that the mistake on the HR both teams basically have weak singles, Jays more of them. Need to square up some
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Too many walks/hit by pitch. All the free passes have come back to bite us this game
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 I knew all the trash-talking from Manoah/Vlad, hype nonsense from every platform is going to bite us squarely in the ass. Definitely more ego than talent on this team
Kordesi Verified Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Only 4 hits for SEA I know! Eve we lose this one - this is not over. They are not good in scoring.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 7, 2022 Author Posted October 7, 2022 Too many walks/hit by pitch. Not really
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 I get not wanting him to face the top of the lineup again but you’re telling me Manoah couldn’t get Kelnic, Fraizer, and Crawford out. Just no reason to use your lefty there. They are probably going to come back up later as well…
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Why? Why is he coming out at 79 pitches and with a dude hitting .140 coming up. This is absolutely bizarre decision. Schneider loves using the pen. I mean at 4-0 just let Manoah finish the inning, especially since Kelenic has been awful.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Okay, I appreciate the Jays' possum strategy. Surely this is where we surprise them here.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Castillo is dealing , control and nasty stuff
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 That was a clear foot inside. Lol
