Moreno needs 2 hits to get it over the fence. Swings a wet noodle at this point.

Hasn't he always at every level he's been at?

Why the f*** is Charlie burning so many arms, jfc.

Just f***ing keep Romo in, how is he even on a pitch count throwing what he throws

Get Zimmer in there for a few innings. Make him our Brett Phillips.

Organizational depth is being severely exposed lately, especially the pitching.

Couple of injuries and all you have to trot out there is Lawrence and Hatch, and they predictably get their faces caved in.

I mean, they could have used Castillo but for some reason they avoided that.

Hopefully Zulueta, Tiedemann and Frasso all pan out as well as some others. If they can all get to AAA/AA and still be looking good, pushing for spots then we might have the org depth to finally weather a couple of injuries here and there.

And the fact that they still feel the need to keep giving at bats to Zimmer at this point is mind boggling. Nobody down on the farm that could bet a .460 OPS? That is not a good look for this organization.

0.080 ISO in AAA. He had extra base power until he hit AAA....but has driven the ball all year.

They do in Nathan Lukes but that means you DFA someone from the 40-man roster, which they have been SUPER reluctant to do this year.

Send was risky but glad it worked out.

Gausman must be a sure thing next start.

I hope this is true because burning Castillo tonight would be dumb, unless we make a game of this.

How was it not manipulated where Lawrence and Castillo were not in reversed roles?

Castillo was suppose to be the in case Gausman can't pitch on Sunday guy

You guys are agonizing over the postioning of pitchers, none of whom were on any prospect lists. Castillo is probably not our lord and savior.

Really Vlad? f*** off with that attitude. Jesus christ.

Don't worry about it, Charlie will keep his ego in check

If Castillo can hold, we have a chance.

mmm, maybe; Mariners have a kick-ass bullpen though. Especially Munoz who has a wipeout slider.

Vladdy kills the rally

Looked obviously like they were giving up the out for the run cause Bo was a tad behind where Espinal was

why, wouldn't Lawrence be that guy and Castillo given a shot since hes not a mid 30's career minor leaguer...

I can’t resist this one. They have a pretty renowned pitching dev team and it hasn’t been that long to get these results,

There… I didn’t say a thing about us.

Yeah Vladdy should have stayed put, the ball wasn't hit right at the left fielder and combined with Bo's speed should have assumed he'd score. Being down 4 - 5 runs is another reason.

Fine, but if anybody can't plainly see with their own eyes that Castillo has the better stuff, then I don't know what else to say.

Literally the only guy on the team with a strikeout tonight

As soon as I saw bullpen game for us vs Gonzales, I bet 1K on the Mariners ML

lmao I bet 200 on the Mariners team total, hoping that the Jays would still win in a blowout. In hindsight, I wish I hit it a lot harder. A total of 4 runs was a steal.
