Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 f*** it, I am going to bed; another waste of time. Mind-boggling errors on basepaths from coaching staff & another classic Kikuchi outing.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Like how the f*** do you waive Kirk in after he fully stopped in front of you. Killed the entire inning.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Where? Also. Thanks for showing up Vlad. You click on the poster's name, view profile, and add to ignore list, it's basically useless as you'll see quoted posts.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Also lazy ass Kirk doesn’t slide again Great hitter, good catcher but jesus christ what an awful base runner
AMS528 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Kikuchi, right now, is not an MLB starter. A serious team can’t keep running him out there. It would be easier to do this if we had a reasonable depth piece to plug in but basically no one we hoped would develop into a back end depth starter has managed it. Kay/Francis/Hatch/Pearson. Horrible track record there. Lawrence is basically just hoping to eat some innings. Maybe we get really lucky and Castillo can manage a few reasonable starts.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Rivera is so bad how is he still third bae coach lol.

Lawrence and Castillo… they looked not that bad to me. I’d be willing to give them a shot.

Add Borucki, Thornton, Pannone to that list. Waguespack is still around too I think.

Dagagad Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 I really feel like we are going to win this game. It just feels like a random one thag we win.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Dude, you can’t as a front office just give up on a season when in playoff position after you spent tons on pitching already. It’s not an option. I didn’t say they need to give up on the season. Just not sell the farm to try to save it.
Dagagad Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 I didn’t say they need to give up on the season. Just not sell the farm to try to save it. Oh I got you. If we are in a situation where we need pitching to make sure we get in, then we have to do it. If we have really good odds though, yea, dont spend the prospects.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Phelps seems like most used arm coming out of the pen. Surprised Montoyo uses him so much considering he had surgery last year and given his age. Wouldn't surprise me to see him go on the IL before the season ends with arm strain. Montoyo is oblivious.

What choice does he really have. Who else is getting him outs on a consistent basis? This entire bullpen is over worked outside of maybe Romano who has at times been overworked as well. As much as Charlie sucks at his job. His hands are kinda tied. Especially when only 2 of the starters reliably go deep into games. And those 2 didn’t recently either.

This is a constant issue with Charlie. Ran Giles into the ground and almost did the same with Romano

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Just tuned in. I see there won't be any "Where are all the Kooch haters now?" posts tonight. Sadly. Look at that line - woof! 4 hits, 2 HBP and 4 BB, 0 K over 2 1/3 - yikes. I didn't see it but can we really start this guy anymore now in a season we are trying to W? They can still win this game! 6 outs left.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Need a crooked number here, lets go!
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 The Silver Fox gets out of it. On a side note: It is nice of the A's to have a family and friends night at the ballpark. 200 people get the run of the place all to themselves.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Lol what a terrible at bat by Piscotty there
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Damn, wrong part of the park.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Ugh. These deep fly ball outs are f***ing annoying
