Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 As if Trent can find the strikezone either lol
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Even Thorton might be better than Kikuchi. No, just no. DFA him as well
Ray Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Yeah three years was f***ing stupid. At least a team option in the last year. Are you dumb? Do you think Ross Atkins called Scott Boras and offered him 3 years from the start? The only reason he got 3 years was because he likely had 2 year offers on the table and we had to go to a third to get him.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 It’s absolutely baffling that Kikuchi can go 6 innings with 1 walk literally 5 days ago, and then revert back to whatever the f*** this was. I’ve never seen a starter with such a wide variance of outcomes. How can you not command your fastball even a little bit? Between the ears, now Thornton, another one that can't hit the zone on a given night.
Ray Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Between the ears, now Thornton, another one that can't hit the zone on a given night. I’m not sure it’s between the ears. His mechanics seem altered literally every pitch.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Kicuchi has to be one of the worst signings ever For the Jays he probably doesn’t even make the bottom 5 worst signings…yet. A year from now…maybe a different convo
Dagagad Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Not a bad result from the position he walked into there.
BCZ Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Not the year you want to be experimenting with this pile of s***
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 I would rather see Castillo back up with the big club getting bombed than another Kikuchi start.
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 This is horrible How can they possibly give Kikuchi another start?

BTS Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Kikuchi, right now, is not an MLB starter. A serious team can’t keep running him out there.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Meanwhile in Seattle boruki has been pretty good. Just had to get out of Toronto I guess
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Atta boy Teo! big momentum swing right there. This guy's a scrub. Jays should be able to step it up and win this game.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Damn, that went outa there in a hurry
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 LOL... That ball was crushed!!!
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Yeah three years was f***ing stupid. At least a team option in the last year. I’m pretty sure it’s all guaranteed no option.
Ray Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 This is horrible How can they possibly give Kikuchi another start? They can’t. Time for a phantom IL stint and roll with Maximo Castillo and/or Casey Lawrence.
Jays333 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 I signed up just so I could say how mad I am the Jays signed Kikuchi to a 3 year deal
Dagagad Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Meanwhile in Seattle boruki has been pretty good. Just had to get out of Toronto I guess Seattle get a lot of buzz at being good at that. But … honestly relievers are pretty f***ing random as well.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Atta boy Teo. Need Teo to go on a run to boost his trade value.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 I don’t think that bat flip was all that bright when A) you’re behind, and your pitcher almost killed 2 of the other team earlier
Dagagad Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 They can’t. Time for a phantom IL stint and roll with Maximo Castillo and/or Casey Lawrence. We said that two starts ago. He gets at least one more start.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 This kid has a sweet change.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 I signed up just so I could say how mad I am the Jays signed Kikuchi to a 3 year deal Welcome. Is that why all the 3s in your name?
Dagagad Verified Member Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 We are outhitting them. Unlucky to be behind.
