TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 He's hit balls out of the infield, unless you meant something else. It was hyperbole to say he almost never hits line drives or gets the ball deep. He's shown the ability to make contact with the ball but he hasn't shown the ability to consistently drive it, aka any power whatsoever.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2022 Author Posted July 1, 2022 Thornton got out of it. I will happily eat my sentiment.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Might be time to think about moving... Naw, he’s cool. He had some really good weed
Dagagad Verified Member Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Man I’m jealous of the Rays front office. Archer for meadows, baz and glasnow AND then meadows for paredes. They are f***ing geniuses. I think a part of it is just sheer willingness to do these kinds of trades. Like the jays could probably have swindled some delusional team and traded teo for three future pieces but big money teams don’t do that kind of thing.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Add not expecting to see Thornton throwing 97mph. When did that start?
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Add not expecting to see Thornton throwing 97mph. When did that start? Must've been a glitch
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Add not expecting to see Thornton throwing 97mph. When did that start? Today. Might be the shift from multi inning to 1 inning
