Alright, maybe this offence that looks unbeatable on paper could score some f***ing runs.

Good start Heineman.

Good call, brand new ballgame! ;)

Collins... 6 pitches, 6 whiffs... lol

Regression to the mean. We all know it's going to happen sooner or later lol

No idea. I started checking gates at like 6:10-6:15 and checked pretty much every gate.

I heard it was around 5:45ish they were out

Why oh why must Thornton still be a Jay?

The fact that he is still a Jay means the Jays could have done more to shore up the bullpen.

You thought Kikuchi was bad... here comes Thornton

The return of sucky Thornton.

Astros are all over him this inning… suspicious

Yeah he has a K% bordering 40% and a BABIP over .380. He's going to regress pretty hard, but if he's a catcher, then it's not a big deal. If he's the DH and batting 4th, then that's a bigger issue. Need Teoscar and Jansen back ASAP.

Absolutely, 12 swing and misses tells us as much.

He wasn't as bad as his stat line. Houston is a good hitting team and didn't miss too many mistakes. I would have left him in myself. Now we have Thornton in for the 4th. This is going to be a tough one for the bullpen.

Rocket Raimel with a three hopper to home...come on buddy let's get a little more mustard on that next time

Gotta wonder if guys like that (Raimel, Chris Sale, Triston Mackenzie) even lift weights at all. How can they be so skinny as professional athletes lol

Grichuk would have nailed him... ;)

This is where the Jays should use Pearson when he's healthy, similar to how the Yankees have been using King. Just have him come in as a multi inning reliever. Thornton is not good so the fact that he can eat up innings out of the pen isn't necessarily helpful.

Maybe with two strikes Tilapia could shorten up a bit? He swung his helmet off his head on a pitch in the dirt lol

He's doing his best imitation of Bo.

Yay Espinal.
