Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Alright, maybe this offence that looks unbeatable on paper could score some f***ing runs. Good start Heineman. Good call, brand new ballgame! 446 ft
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Please heat up offense. Its f***ing fun when it’s clicking.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Collins... 6 pitches, 6 whiffs... lol
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Collins... 6 pitches, 6 whiffs... lol Regression to the mean. We all know it's going to happen sooner or later lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 No idea. I started checking gates at like 6:10-6:15 and checked pretty much every gate. I heard it was around 5:45ish they were out
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 You thought Kikuchi was bad... here comes Thornton
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Regression to the mean. We all know it's going to happen sooner or later lol I hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Can we punt Thornton to the moon already please?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 You thought Kikuchi was bad... here comes Thornton He's been quite efficient thus far, and now another hit. I'll shutup now.
Signal Verified Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Why oh why must Thornton still be a Jay? The fact that he is still a Jay means the Jays could have done more to shore up the bullpen.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Worst of the Jays on full display lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 You thought Kikuchi was bad... here comes Thornton The return of sucky Thornton. Astros are all over him this inning… suspicious
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 I honestly think I can throw better than Tapia... damn that noodle arm
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Exactly what you want after your struggling offense just tied the game.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Rocket Raimel with a three hopper to home...come on buddy let's get a little more mustard on that next time
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Regression to the mean. We all know it's going to happen sooner or later lol Yeah he has a K% bordering 40% and a BABIP over .380. He's going to regress pretty hard, but if he's a catcher, then it's not a big deal. If he's the DH and batting 4th, then that's a bigger issue. Need Teoscar and Jansen back ASAP.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 my goodness what a noodle arm
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Absolutely, 12 swing and misses tells us as much. He wasn't as bad as his stat line. Houston is a good hitting team and didn't miss too many mistakes. I would have left him in myself. Now we have Thornton in for the 4th. This is going to be a tough one for the bullpen.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Rocket Raimel with a three hopper to home...come on buddy let's get a little more mustard on that next time Gotta wonder if guys like that (Raimel, Chris Sale, Triston Mackenzie) even lift weights at all. How can they be so skinny as professional athletes lol
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Rocket Raimel with a three hopper to home...come on buddy let's get a little more mustard on that next time Grichuk would have nailed him...
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 This is where the Jays should use Pearson when he's healthy, similar to how the Yankees have been using King. Just have him come in as a multi inning reliever. Thornton is not good so the fact that he can eat up innings out of the pen isn't necessarily helpful.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Maybe with two strikes Tilapia could shorten up a bit? He swung his helmet off his head on a pitch in the dirt lol
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Maybe with two strikes Tilapia could shorten up a bit? He swung his helmet off his head on a pitch in the dirt lol He's doing his best imitation of Bo. Yay Espinal.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Why pitch to Springer when you got Bo next.
