I can see both sides of it. But I think it’s really good for baseball adding the teams. Really gets those fans engaged, especially if it’s mid-market and such

So I’ve heard nothing about the “choose your opponent” feature in the playoffs so I guess that’s not part of the CBA? Would have made sense to have the division winner that ends up involved in the WC round to get to choose their opponent as a bonus for winning a division but I guess they’ll go by seeding instead. Would have been Yanks/Red Sox and White Sox/Jays last season with this format.

Those are really cool angles. It's amazing that Bo looked completely overmatched and Vlad drives it oppo with ease.

 

When I watched Bo's at bat, I thought to myself - f*** me - this is why players struggle to spray the ball around or bunt to "beat the shift" - Romano is f***ing filthy. Then Vlad comes up and hammers 2 pitches off the RF wall. The best hitters in baseball are just on another level.
