I hope they make the postseason. Such a waste when you can't see players like Trout and Ohtani on the biggest stage in October!

 

Fine, as long as the October stage also gets to show Guererro Jr and Gausman! ;)

Ward pinch hit 2 run homer to tie the Rays in the bottom of the 8th... :)

 

Loup gives up the inherited runner and another run, 4-2 Rays in the 10th... Fack!

 

Boston just got walked off... hearing Eckersley cry is great.

Thats the fifth time the Red Sux have been walked off this year, shame. LOL...Thats the most in baseball.

Juan Soto recently went 4 for 34.

 

Every player goes through slumps from time to time. The fact that Tork did this after barely a month into his MLB career means absolutely nothing / you can't draw any conclusions from it.

I wasn’t projecting his career, mate. I was simply pointing out that he’s been really bad. I didn’t really see it before.

Kelenic is approaching 500 PA and has a 67 OPS+, and his k-rate is actually up from last season.

 

He’s very likely not going to be a superstar like he was supposed to, but at this point he’s unplayable.

It's f***ing insane that the Mariners seem hellbent on keeping him in their starting lineup when he clearly needs to go back to the minor leagues to iron out a few things. You're right that he's probably not going to be the star that people thought he would be, but he could yet turn things around at AAA...if only Seattle wasn't intent on ensuring he never has that opportunity.

 

This is literally Exhibit A on how to ruin a once-budding star prospect.
