G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 I hope they make the postseason. Such a waste when you can't see players like Trout and Ohtani on the biggest stage in October! Fine, as long as the October stage also gets to show Guererro Jr and Gausman!
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 The Buccos beat the Dodgers again, thus is baseball.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 (edited) Ward pinch hit 2 run homer to tie the Rays in the bottom of the 8th... Loup gives up the inherited runner and another run, 4-2 Rays in the 10th... Fack! Boston just got walked off... hearing Eckersley cry is great. Edited May 12, 2022 by Spanky99

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 Just seeing Torkelson in 2 for last 35 yikes. 34% k rate. It was looking like Riley Greene was clearly the better of the two

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 Huh? Greene’s numbers were betting coming up, hardly outlandish

It was looking like Riley Greene was clearly the better of the two Juan Soto recently went 4 for 34. Every player goes through slumps from time to time. The fact that Tork did this after barely a month into his MLB career means absolutely nothing / you can't draw any conclusions from it. You are the 2nd most reactionary person on this board. Junior f***tard being no.1

Junior f***tard being no.1 I wasn’t projecting his career, mate. I was simply pointing out that he’s been really bad. I didn’t really see it before. There’s no shame in Riley Greene being the better prospect

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 lol, a very bad backtrack I offered Bogey straight for Kelenic after his first mlb flop.
Ray Verified Member Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 Kelenic is approaching 500 PA and has a 67 OPS+, and his k-rate is actually up from last season. He’s very likely not going to be a superstar like he was supposed to, but at this point he’s unplayable.

It's f***ing insane that the Mariners seem hellbent on keeping him in their starting lineup when he clearly needs to go back to the minor leagues to iron out a few things. You're right that he's probably not going to be the star that people thought he would be, but he could yet turn things around at AAA...if only Seattle wasn't intent on ensuring he never has that opportunity. This is literally Exhibit A on how to ruin a once-budding star prospect.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 Montero, Ackley, Kelenic, and Julio Rodriguez. Very sad. One of those does not belong with the others.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 fify Even with the horrid start his bat is now above average, 10 SB, and above average defense in CF. What's not to like.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 SSS alert but Jakob Junis has an 8.74 ERA in 3 AAA starts and an ERA of 1.20 in 3 MLB starts (an opener was used for two of them).
