Jared Kelenic now has a .487 OPS on the season with a 41% k-rate. Season slashline is .134/.203/.284

 

Through 115 major league games, he’s slashing .173/.255/.339 for a .594 OPS.

 

I don’t know how many players in history start their career with a <.600 OPS (min 450 PA) and turn out to be superstars, but I can’t imagine the list is very long.

The guy had great peripherals and a bit unlucky, but I had to drop him cause it sucked to have a guy stuck in the 9 hole

Kinda harsh but… play stupid games win stupid prizes. The security was rough but not outrageously so… what were their parents doing??

 

Also how the f*** did the author of the article manage to make it about politics lol… smh

I genuinely believe he is who Aroldis Chapman was right before his breakout. But I like Duran a lot more than I ever liked Chapman.

 

So glad I got him for so cheap in my H2H league.

lol. When Buck does anything remotely like this some will say "Bucked" or "Buck is drunk". I have no idea what one could say about this. He just keeps digging with the shovel.

I love weird plays on splitters. Rich Harden is my favourite pitcher of all time and he had a nasty splitter/knuckle ball hybrid.

I caved and bought the membership a month or so ago. No regrets - I enjoy not having my eyes assaulted every time I open a new page.

 

I probably spend more time looking at stats than I do watching games, and the onslaught of ads and pop-ups at FanGraphs was just too much to bear day in and day out. My eyes have been sodomized for far too long, thus I have finally given in to FanGraphs dot com.
