Chris Davis advised Bellinger the Adderall would deteriorate his abilities, he didn't listen. Bellinger took the Adderall to offset all the drugs. Source: My mom.

If Pollock can stay healthy he could be a big difference maker for the White Sox. Big upgrade over Adam Engel or whatever other fringe piece they would have started in RF.

Michael Wacha missed 3 months with this injury, and he was 24.

Not sure it’s really fair to say it altered Wacha’s trajectory. He stayed mostly healthy and did Wacha things the next three seasons after the injury.

Guardians knew they wouldnt get a Ramirez extension done. For some reason THEY'RE the ones who set a deadline for opening day to get an extension done.

 

Just trade him to the Jays and get it over with.

Did it so they can say they tried to extend him and they couldn’t come to terms when they move him at the trade deadline this season.

What the f*** are these agents even for? This is an atrocious contract for Clase.

He barely has any service time and was looking at ~5 years more of team control, which isn't guaranteed, especially for a reliever. Now he gets guaranteed money and can cash in when he reaches free agency.

 

He also only signed for 125k as an international free agent so this is his first chance to cash in.
