Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 It was fun while it lasted. Yankee$ will just bring too much viewership for this crooked league. Stop it
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Hopefully we can take 4 of 4 from the twins
InvincibleTiger Verified Member Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Have to win 3/4 from the Twins

bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Five losses burned. 7-3. GG matchups all series against the Twins... Yankees not so much.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 3-1 vs Twins 2-1 vs Yanks 2-1 vs O's 7-3 Still very doable. Hopefully Boston sweeps the Yankees this week too.

Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 RIP Jays 2021. Elimination day is now upon us so might as well prepare. Here are some ways it could unfold. 1. The soul crusher Jays lose the next 2, Yankees win the next 2, and the mid week games we have looked forward to for weeks are rendered meaningless. Even Michael Kay is bored at the mid-week exhibition that is nothing but a wild card tune up for his Yankees. "The health Unit has let us have 30,000, cheer on your Jays, by the way the games are meaningless... sorry bro!" 2. The Yankee Win! The Yankees Win! Jays win one of the next 2, Yankees lose a couple so the games are meaningful, but Jays lose a couple in soul crushing fashion, getting Michael Kay very excited. 3. Keirmaier's revenge Jays win a couple in Minnesota, and a couple against the Yankees and are still in it as late as Saturday... mysteriously on the weekend. Keirmaier blows a key play against the Yankees in their win that clinch's it for them. Guess his buddy's the Blue Jays won't make the playoffs. Kevin will be sad. Or will he? I feel the mostly likely is scenario 1, the soul crusher.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Six losses burned. 7-2. Seven losses burned. Not looking good now. 7-1.
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Seven losses burned. Not looking good now. 7-1. Win the next 2 vs min, take 2 of 3 against the yanks, then a sweep of the s*** birds gets us 7-1, it’s totally possible still

Slot Machine Verified Member Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 18 wins down. 5-1 Come on people. LOL.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Man that 4-3 vs the Twins was not ideal. Really put them behind the 8 ball. They need help from other teams now and/or have to sweep the Yankees again, as well as basically run the table. Such a piss off. This team should be fighting for 1st overall in the AL, not battling with these donkeys for a wild card. f***ing bullpen and Montoyo.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Is making fun of Jagmeet Singh's tiktok posts considered too political? 'cause if not... I mean...
CBlake Verified Member Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 If the Blue Jays take 2 of 3 from the Yankees and sweep the O’s, the Yankees take 2 of 3 from the Rays, and the Red Sox win 4 of 6 against Baltimore and Washington, there will be a three-way tie for two AL wild card spots.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 If the Blue Jays take 2 of 3 from the Yankees and sweep the OÂ’s, the Yankees take 2 of 3 from the Rays, and the Red Sox win 4 of 6 against Baltimore and Washington, there will be a three-way tie for two AL wild card spots. Might as well add in Seattle winning all six. Hell, all 5 teams not yet eliminated could end 90-72.
