DevoW Verified Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Have a lot more faith in Saucedo than Hand.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 there goes that man again
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Vladdy happy again, nice to see.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 No one likes a show off Springer, let your teammates wear the jacket too you selfish jerk
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Traded for Hand so he can get some good work in 10-2 games lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Vlads ground out was 110.1 MPH. Hardest ball by anyone in the game. Thats a positive sign And now a walk. No Ks tonight is a good sign

ShowtimeBelli Verified Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Fk! Just realized we scored 10-runs and now we're doomed tomorrow
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 And now a walk. No Ks tonight is a good sign He had some powerful swings as well. If he plays tomorrow I think his bad will be sped up facing Ohtani which may help as well
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Not sure why they wouldn’t go with new guy here. Saucedo was at 11 pitches too?
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Hopefully Ohtani has some sort of blister or sore something and can’t start. Wouldn’t be unheard of
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 With Mayza on the IL and Borucki sucking bad enough to get sent down, they need to get Hand going. No problem with letting him work out the kinks in a 10-2 game.
InvincibleTiger Verified Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Time to win another series tomorrow!!
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Remember when we couldn’t get over the 7 games above .500 hump
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Where was this velocity from Manoah in the last few starts? He was using his 4 seamer(finally), he should use it more. Geez.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Not really. The bad version of Guerrero = hitting blistering groundballs all the time. He's just mentioning the hard contact, he's been rolling over a lot of poorly hit balls during this slump. I see it as a positive.

I see it as a positive. Okay, but it's not a positive. He was an elite exit velocity guy last year and he was a replacement level player. He will always hit the ball hard. When he is playing poorly his launch angles will be off. In the second half so far his LD% is only 7.6%. It was over 21% in the first half. Interestingly, his GB% is not up. Groundballs were the problem in 2020 and 2019 but so far in the second half his nemesis is lazy pop ups and flyballs.

So ironically enough at the end of the post you basically contradict your opening lol. Well done

Yes, and rolled over soft hit balls to the left side. He's slumping, s*** happens, are you worried or something?
