On paper that looks like a good lineup today. But then again I thought yesterday's lineup was questionable and look how it did.

This is the best lineup the Jays have had all year imo. Just hope Vladdy starts hitting again.

Borucki just doesn't look right. Needs to work out kinks and get back in the zone, and better to do that in AAA. Hopefully he can string together a few appearances in a row with no walks and lots of Ks. I would want to see that before calling him up again.

 

Not sure how long Murphy stays up for. Not a big fan of his stuff. The FB isn't what it was last year or prior in the minors where he'd work upper 90s and routinely hit 100 as a SP, and his CV looks easy to spot with the loopy arch.

Kirby and Snead have both had fantastic seasons in AAA, hopefully they can translate some of that success into major league success as well. We just have to hope that Mayza and Soria are only out short term. Hopefully Pearson will be back soon as well.
