What's the technical (or clinical) height where one can be classified as such?

IIRC it's 4'10", my fiance is 4'9" (not due to any genetic abnormality, she's just short.)

So, Springer's hits have all looked decent, but like...

90.8, 86.4, 81.5 on the exit velocity... He's not hitting the ball hard at all.

It's almost time for someone to get thrown out of this game and giving this f***en ump a huge piece of their mind! Let's get some fire going

I consider any man under 5’10 to be small. Ty Tice is listed at 5’9 but I highly doubt he is. Probably closer to 5’6.

Surprising he looks like he hit them all well. Must be catching them off the end of the bat.

Maybe we just shouldn't have signed Semien and left Biggio at 2B...

Had they signed Brantley that’s probably exactly what would have happened.

I think you guys are being overly critical. That wasn't an easy play for Biggio. A good right fielder may have had it, but if you're not used to the position it's unlikely you are going to go crashing into the wall.

Or maybe Biggio just isn't good enough to play any position full time in the bigs? Let's not pretend like he's some gold glove 2B either. It's the position he sucks at the least.

xBA of .100

Like, that play needs to be made.

There's a reason why he's not used to any position because he's average to below average at all of them. He'll need to get used to playing all over if he plans to stick it out in the bigs.
