Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Joe Panik over Kirk? Can Panik catch? No he can't. Can't hit either.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Charlie has already done three retarded things in two games.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 This is why Panik shouldn’t have made the team. He’s a perfectly adequate backup infielder but when your manager is a moron, Panik becomes a dangerous guy to have on the bench.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Author Posted April 3, 2021 Wasted chances today with unclutch hitting
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Not using our best assets will hurt our chances. Montoyo is dumb.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Zeuch vs. Germán tomorrow. We will take 2 out of 3
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 How long before we start seeing #FireMontoyo trending on twitter?
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 You always pray when you have a complete gimp for a manager that behind the scenes, your GM is fighting him to be better like that ******** Brad Pitt/Philip Seymour Hoffman storyline in Moneyball. And then you remember that is, in fact, just Hollywood ******** and in real life your GM just extended that guy's contract another year.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Pretty sure Montoyo’s crush on Panik is going to cost us some game’s this season.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 No he can't. Can't hit either I'm not so sure Kirk wouldve gotten a hit off Green either
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Panik does have some OBP skills, but the real question would have been if Montoya would have stuck with him if Grichuk got on base.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 why bother using Joe Panik as a pinch hitter.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Pretty sure Montoyo’s crush on Panik is going to cost us some game’s this season. There's a pretty good chance Espinal might be better than Panik at this point, so they not only demoted the better utility player but will now allow Buntoyo to use Panik as a pinch hitter when he might be the worst hitter on the team once Springer replaces Davis on the roster. This is why I was pulling for Valera or anyone else to win that utility spot even though I knew it was Panik's the moment he signed his name to a contract.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 On pace for 81-81 record. Not good.

You’d think they could get by with an 8 man bullpen, but maybe not with our starting pitching and how buntoyo uses the pen
Ex Player Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 On pace for 81-81 record. Not good Please tell me you're kidding
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 This is why Panik shouldn’t have made the team. He’s a perfectly adequate backup infielder but when your manager is a moron, Panik becomes a dangerous guy to have on the bench. That, and Espinal is likely better than Panik regardless...
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Please tell me you didn’t miss the sarcasm
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 On pace for 81-81 record. Not good. Red Sox are on pace for a 0-162 record, and they've only played the Orioles...
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Zeuch is gonna get f***ed up tomorrow
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Zeuch is gonna get f***ed up tomorrow Zeuch isn't good at béisbol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Please tell me you're kidding Im just poking fun at all the overreactions in this thread
Ex Player Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Zeuch is gonna get f***ed up tomorrow He will, which brings me back to my last post, which is our starting pitching is our weak point, which conversely will be solved when/if Manoah/Ray/Pearson/Kay can come back and deliver this year. If not this year, then they will have to do it next year. We're not gonna win anything this year with Ryu/Strip/Roark/Zeuch/Matz alone. Just my $0.02
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 At least the Jays were in first place for a few days this year
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 I am banking Tellez's entire season based on the outcome of this at bat here lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Pretty sure Montoyo’s crush on Panik is going to cost us some game’s this season. Atkins fault.

C'mon man, Espinal was better in all facets, but...
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Anyhow, we lost a game, it sucks. It's how we respond tomorrow against the Empire, Evil Empire.
