That's exactly what I meant. It looked like he crushed the ball and it didn't carry much. A lot of our other guys have a bit more power to make up for the deadened ball.

We went from Springer on first with Bo at the plate to Teoscar at the plate with man on 2nd and 3rd.

These guys are just bad. I mean, I'd give them a pass on "Semien was signed for $16M" if they had some insight, or were otherwise entertaining, but they're just bad across the board.

From the limited action I saw, I don't think Biggio is a good 3rd baseman. He seems so uncomfortable with the way he throws from there. I'd rather give Bo a chance or who knows, we might pickup someone from agency to play there.

 

I think watching them, you can tell Bo can would be better suited at both positions. I consider Biggio as an average 2b and a below average 3b. Bo would be a plus defender at 2b and I would guess an average 3b at worst.

 

While many love Biggio, I cant think of a defensive position he would be considered above average in.
