Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 This is the game thread. Read the title, lol. This thread consists of all spring training news in general. Thought the other thread would be more game specific. It's cool though. Whatever works lol.

It's cool though. Whatever works lol. I think this thread was meant to be a month-long GDT because people don't care enough about Spring Training to have a new game thread everyday. People are hype today but individual threads won't get much traffic after today. I don't care either way, I don't mind using the other thread.

Agreed... im only hyped because it's the first game and get to see skinny Vlad lol. After this, I doubt I create another spring training thread lol.

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Austin Martin playing SS tomorrow... niceee Really want to see him play. Wonder if he'll get any OF reps or if we'll use him primarily at SS. Also the pitching lineup seems intriguing too.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 That's a whole lot of pitchers that i want to see tomorrow. The game isn't on TV though is it? Like, every single f***ing guy I want to watch every pitch they throw, except for maybe Liriano.
Ray Verified Member Posted March 1, 2021 Author Posted March 1, 2021 Next televised game isn’t until March 12th, so we’ll be waiting a while.

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Gotta love Blue Jays Twitter trying to hype up a Spring training home opener without it being accessible to anyone lol
EastCoaster Verified Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Classic spring training Bench Player line -up for evaluation.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Is this game not on TV?
Ehjays Verified Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Apparently Zulueta wont be pitching in the game today, now he will be pitching on the side. One game in a I cant wait for this Breyvic Valera experiment to end.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 No TV broadcast for this game. Radio broadcast here.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Eventful game that I cannot watch or listen to. Alford homered off Ray and Austin Martin just made a throwing error

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Another error for Austin Martin. Martin to CF in 3,2,1.... Lol dude he hasn’t even played a single inning of minor league ball yet
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Pearson throwing some gas already... 97-99 on the fastball. Not totally sure he knows where it's going, but the arm strength is there already.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 According to MLB Ray threw 26 pitches, 24 of them for strikes...is that right? That's a good sign if true.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 According to MLB Ray threw 26 pitches, 24 of them for strikes...is that right? That's a good sign if true. Yeah according to the Game Day pitch breakdowns, which have seemed to be a lot more accurate this year than in the past, he only threw 2 balls (pitch 2 to Alford, pitch 1 to Perez).
